How To... Orange lips.

Word on the street is that orange lips are the thing to be seen sporting this spring. Forget the classic red, its all about those bright corals, subtle peaches and in your face tangerines.
I have been sporting the orange pout for a while, it is my number one favourite lip look. However if you aren't used to wearing this seasons hottest look then it can be a little daunting to jump in at the deep end.
Here is an orange lipstick guide for beginners right through to professional bold lip beauty. And the best bit? They are all under £8.

Top: Seventeen Mirror Shine - Cheeky Secret (£4.79)
Middle: Revlon Lip Butter - Juicy Papaya (£7.99)

Beginners - If you are a beginner to the orange lip then the above products are perfect. A light glossy tint without an opaque colour is the easiest way to ease yourself in to a bright lip. These sheer orange shades are lovely for spring and summer and easy to reapply throughout the day without the need for a mirror and super
precision.

Top: Elf Moisturising Lipstick - Coral Cutie (£3.95)
Bottom: Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain - Rendezvous (£7.99)

Intermediate - When it comes to the intermediate orange lip its easier to go for more peach tones than a vibrant orange. A matte or satin finish is also less in your face so its a great way to get that pop without it being the main feature. A stain is also perfect for adding a sheer wash of colour that is easily buildable.

Top: Maybelline Color Sensational Vivids Lipstick - Electric Orange (£7.17)
Bottom: Rimmel - Moisture Renew Lipstick - In Love With Ginger (£6.49)

Advanced - The advanced lip is a a free for all in the bright lip arena. You can go for a shocking neon, like the neon Maybelline above, or a stand out vamp lip. It doesn't matter as long as you rock it with confidence. Above are just two of my favourite bright oranges but there are a lot lot more that fall in to this category.
